The CT-Scan section, a detailed Medical Imaging technique, is part of the hospital’s resently introduced cutting –of-the-edge technology.
Thanks to state-of-the-art equipment acquired in 2015, it supports pivotal investigations in oncology, trauma and angiology. It is regularly utilised for diagnosis.
Tests can be carried out with or without contrast (as it happens in trauma emergency ivestigations), through the use of MDC intravenous injections for brain and abdominal areas; through intra-articular injections (Artro-RM) for the bigger joints (shoulder, pelvis).
More specifically, we offer investigations for the brain, the spinal column, the thorax, the abdomen, the thoracolumbar fascia, the lumbosacral fascia, and the pelvis.
We have redesigned and decorrated our imaging room to be more colourful and attractive to our patients espacially the children. This aims at reducing claustrophobic episodes that may result in apprehension and fear of the examination.
Our medical services are provided by a specialist technician and a nurse.
The CT-Scan is open from Friday to Saturday, from 7:30am to 3:30pm, but, for emergency, it is available 24/7.
Our spaces have been redesigned and decorated to be more child-friendly.
No more fear
A state-of-the-art equipment for more precise diagnosis and to reduce stress and claustrophobia..
One of the jewels in the crown of our facility, introduced in 2015.
